Skirting board QL021 is a minimalist square profile, used for finishing the wall near the floor and masking the expansion gap. It can be used independently or in combination with the QL019 skirting board, with which it forms a modern composition for LED illumination. The designer of the strip is Tomek Rygalik - one of the most popular industrial designers.

Skirting profile QL021 is made of PolyForce material, which guarantees the highest water resistance and durability against mechanical damage. The skirting board will be perfect for masking the expansion gap, formed during the installation of the floor. The special shape of the molding makes it possible to hide cables and wires at the back of the molding. The profile is enhanced with our proprietary ScratchShield® technology, which further hardens the surface of the molding, making Mardom Decor skirting boards the toughest polymer skirting boards on the market. This minimalist profile was designed by the most prominent Polish industrial designer of our time – Tomek Rygalik. The molding is dedicated for use with the QL019 skirting board, but nothing prevents you from installing it as a standalone piece. In the production process, the profile is coated with a special finishing primer, which gives the molding a white, smooth finish. Special refiners ensure that the molding will not yellow over time – so you can install it anywhere in the house – even in direct sunlight.

Maximum hardening of the strip
The skirting board has innovative ScratchShield technology, which consists in maximizing the hardening of the skirting board with polymer compounds by 40% compared to skirting boards that do not have this technology. Increased impact strength and impact resistance, translate into a noticeable improvement in the durability of the molding when trying to scratch it with a sharp tool. Skirting boards with ScratchShield technology are the toughest skirting boards on the market.
Waterproof
The strip is fully waterproof. This means that it can be successfully used in rooms with high humidity, such as bathrooms or kitchens. In a situation of flooding, direct contact will not affect the appearance of the strip.
UV resistant
The molding, thanks to special refinements and coatings, is resistant to UV radiation. Installation of the molding in a sunny place will not cause its yellowing or discoloration.
Primer-coated strip
The molding is factory-coated with a special primer with smoothing, protecting and facilitating the distribution of subsequent layers of paint. For a perfect visual effect, we recommend painting the molding with any water-based paint after installation.
Resistant to swelling
Mardom Decor moldings, unlike those made of MDF and other plastics, do not deform, delaminate or swell under the influence of moisture. They are dimensionally stable and do not shrink or expand under the influence of changes in atmospheric conditions in the room.
