MD258E door frame
The MD258E door frame is a simple but effective design solution that not only looks aesthetically pleasing, but also provides high protection against scratches, water and UV radiation.
For technological reasons, all dimensions may vary within a tolerance of +/- 0.5%
The MD258E door border combined with the dedicated MD258 trim provides a consistent and elegant interior look. MD258E is made of durable PolyForce plastic, which guarantees resistance to deformation and yellowing of the material. Thanks to its high durability, the border can be used in any room – in the living room, kitchen, bathroom or playroom without any worries. ScratchShield® technology, which consists in hardening the molding with polymer compounds, significantly increases the molding’s resistance to impacts or scratches. This is a particularly desirable feature for families with young children or users who value high quality. The MD258E’s special design has included a dedicated space to cover wires and home installations. This is an effective solution to hide, among other things, the Internet cable, ensuring the safety of all family members.
Maximum hardening of the strip
The skirting board has innovative ScratchShield technology, which consists in maximizing the hardening of the skirting board with polymer compounds by 40% compared to skirting boards that do not have this technology. Increased impact strength and impact resistance, translate into a noticeable improvement in the durability of the molding when trying to scratch it with a sharp tool. Skirting boards with ScratchShield technology are the toughest skirting boards on the market.
The strip is fully waterproof. This means that it can be successfully used in rooms with high humidity, such as bathrooms or kitchens. In a situation of flooding, direct contact will not affect the appearance of the strip.
The molding, thanks to special refinements and coatings, is resistant to UV radiation. Installation of the molding in a sunny place will not cause its yellowing or discoloration.
The molding is factory-coated with a special primer with smoothing, protecting and facilitating the distribution of subsequent layers of paint. For a perfect visual effect, we recommend painting the molding with any water-based paint after installation.
