The MD161 lighting strip is an oversized profile that will look great in interiors with high ceilings. The strip, thanks to LightGuard® technology, does not let the light through, which prevents the LED strip from piercing the material – without the need for additional wrapping of LEDs with aluminum tape. This makes the installation of the strip much faster and simpler. MD161 is made of water- and UV-resistant high-quality PolyForce polymer. It can be successfully used in harsh rooms that are exposed to increased humidity levels or intense sunlight. The light strip has been coated with primer, which smooths the surface and makes it easy to paint with any water-based paint. .

Waterproof
The strip is fully waterproof. This means that it can be successfully used in rooms with high humidity, such as bathrooms or kitchens. In a situation of flooding, direct contact will not affect the appearance of the strip.
UV resistant
The molding, thanks to special refinements and coatings, is resistant to UV radiation. Installation of the molding in a sunny place will not cause its yellowing or discoloration.
Primer-coated strip
The molding is factory-coated with a special primer with smoothing, protecting and facilitating the distribution of subsequent layers of paint. For a perfect visual effect, we recommend painting the molding with any water-based paint after installation.
Resistant to swelling
Mardom Decor moldings, unlike those made of MDF and other plastics, do not deform, delaminate or swell under the influence of moisture. They are dimensionally stable and do not shrink or expand under the influence of changes in atmospheric conditions in the room.
LightGuard Technology
The skirting board has a unique LightGuard® technology, which completely prevents the LEDs from pointing through the surface of the skirting board. The PolyForce® material from which the trim is made is incredibly dense and enriched with specialized enhancers, so the light diffuses beautifully around the profile. The back side of the molding with LightGuard® technology has specially shaped spaces for the insertion of LED tape. This allows the light to fall at an angle that gives the best illumination effect. Gluing an LED strip to a strip that does not have LightGuard® technology results in unsightly clearances.
For use with LED lighting
The specially profiled inner side of the strip has space for inserting LED tape. Thanks to this, you can get the effect of gentle illumination of the room.
