MD027 skirting board is a design that is characterized by unusual simplicity and subtlety. It will perfectly suit any interior design, aesthetically finishing the place where the floor meets the wall. The molding features innovative ScratchShield® technology, which hardens the material to the maximum, making Mardom Decor profiles the hardest polymer moldings on the market. Thanks to this, the surface of the MD027 is further protected against impacts and accidental scratches. The skirting board is made of durable PolyForce material, which provides high resistance to light and moisture. Long-term exposure to UV radiation does not change the color of the skirting board or affect its deterioration. The molding is waterproof – it does not absorb water and does not swell even in very humid environments. This means that it can be installed without any problems even in kitchens or bathrooms.

Maximum hardening of the strip
The skirting board has innovative ScratchShield technology, which consists in maximizing the hardening of the skirting board with polymer compounds by 40% compared to skirting boards that do not have this technology. Increased impact strength and impact resistance, translate into a noticeable improvement in the durability of the molding when trying to scratch it with a sharp tool. Skirting boards with ScratchShield technology are the toughest skirting boards on the market.
Waterproof
The strip is fully waterproof. This means that it can be successfully used in rooms with high humidity, such as bathrooms or kitchens. In a situation of flooding, direct contact will not affect the appearance of the strip.
UV resistant
The molding, thanks to special refinements and coatings, is resistant to UV radiation. Installation of the molding in a sunny place will not cause its yellowing or discoloration.
Primer-coated strip
The molding is factory-coated with a special primer with smoothing, protecting and facilitating the distribution of subsequent layers of paint. For a perfect visual effect, we recommend painting the molding with any water-based paint after installation.
Resistant to swelling
Mardom Decor moldings, unlike those made of MDF and other plastics, do not deform, delaminate or swell under the influence of moisture. They are dimensionally stable and do not shrink or expand under the influence of changes in atmospheric conditions in the room.
