Attic bedroom :)

Creating a functional and aesthetic attic room can be quite a challenge. Not only because of the problematic nature of the rooms located in the highest part of the house, closest to the roof, but also because of the interior architecture and the number of slopes, which effectively hinder the use of “traditional” solutions. However, the project by Mrs. Justyna from @jumaarchitektura shows that it can be done stylishly, femininely and aesthetically.

Due to the slopes, most of the decorative elements, as well as furniture, focus on the lower part of the room. In this arrangement, the L0101 Mardom Decor slats were used, which were cut to about 1/3 of the wall height. Together with the decorative strip MDD339, which is an aesthetic finish for the slats in the upper part, they create a subtle but very stylish decoration that fits perfectly into the style of the bedroom. On the lower part, at the very floor, the wall arrangement was finished with the MD018P skirting board.

The wall moldings and slats were covered in exactly the same shade as the wall. The subtle, light beige perfectly matches the character of the bedroom, giving it a modern character, preserved in the modern classic style. The used slats and wall moldings were factory-coated with a matte primer, which smoothes the material and increases the adhesion of the dye to the surface. Thanks to this, it was possible to perfectly cover the surface with paint and maintain full color consistency. Thanks to this treatment, the bedroom walls look interesting – the three-dimensional texture attracts the eye, but thanks to maintaining color consistency, it does not dominate or overwhelm it. The only exception are the white skirting boards from the Premium collection. These perfectly correspond to the ceiling, creating a closed composition, refined and thoughtful in every inch. This type of floor molding is covered with satin varnish in the shade RAL 9003 and does not require painting. Another advantage of using moldings in the lower part of the bedroom is the protection of the wall. Such problematic rooms in terms of height are even more susceptible to mechanical damage – impacts from moving furniture or accidental kicks while walking. The Mardom Decor slats and floor strips used were made of high-quality extruded polymer in the proprietary ScratchShield® technology, which hardens the surface to the maximum, increasing its impact resistance and impact resistance. Additionally, the slats, thanks to their three-dimensional shape, have a great impact on the acoustics of the interior, reducing reverberation and noise in the interior. Can you choose a better addition to the bedroom? 😉

The applied stucco in the form of a subtle accent adds elegance to the space, but also coziness. The combination of subtle grooves on the wall with a leather armchair and designer lamps with a gold finish makes the bedroom look extremely impressive. Looking at the photos, you almost want to penetrate this room, lie down on the bed and relax after a hard and exhausting day.

Girl’s Bedroom :)

Creating a fairytale atmosphere in a children’s room is not that difficult 😉 @darialawrynowicz perfectly proves it in this girl’s arrangement by combining decorative moldings into minimalist compositions that give the room a charming ambiance.

Every parent, while designing their child’s room, pays attention to the quality of the products that will surround their little one. Mardom Decor stucco is entirely safe, non-toxic, and also perfect for allergy sufferers.

The stucco serves as a minimalist but significant element in this arrangement. At a height of 1/3 of the wall, the MD002 wall molding with a classic, subtly raised shape was installed. This profile is 4 cm wide, making it visible against the light wall but not overwhelming with its size.

The lower part of the wall, along with the decorative molding, was painted with a charming, powdery pink paint. Mardom Decor moldings have a special, smoothing coating that allows them to be easily covered with any water-based paint. Thanks to this, the shade of the stucco perfectly matches the wall, creating a coherent whole. The pink color is the only, yet striking accent in this arrangement, but it’s precisely this aspect that makes it impossible to look away.

Our MD013P profile perfectly fit the role of a baseboard molding. This 10 cm high molding has a simple form. The white color corresponds well with the light walls, creating a delicate and harmonious arrangement. The white MD013P Mardom Decor baseboard moldings are covered with a satin coating, effectively protecting the material. Therefore, the stucco is adequately protected and smoothed, eliminating the need for additional painting.

The use of decorative moldings in a child’s room often implies a short lifespan for the decorative elements. However, not this time 😉 Mardom Decor stucco is made of high-quality polymers. It is waterproof and has an innovative ScratchShield® technology, making the moldings exceptionally durable and resistant to mechanical damage. We definitely deserve a 5+ rating in the durability test.
The minimalist wall arrangement blends perfectly with the other interior elements. The light floor brightens up the room, while natural decorations, soft materials, and floral patterns make the interior very cozy. Undoubtedly, this is one of the most charming, girl’s rooms with a dreamy, fairytale atmosphere.

Metamorphosis of the office :)

Having your own office is now a dream for many of us, or at least for those who are comfortable working remotely 😉 It’s the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of home and fully focus on work or private projects that require focus. However, a desk and a computer are not enough. After all, we spend a lot of time in our office, and it’s worth making sure it’s fully functional, but also pleasing to the eye. This is exactly the assumption that Karolina Pach came up with, creating with her own hands, her dream office. The study was decorated in a classic style. Already at first glance you can see decorative stucco and the dominant white in the room. The space has been visually divided into two zones – for work and small relaxation.

The “work” space was decorated with decorative wallpaper and occupies 2/3 of the wall. The lower part is a stucco wall, which took the form of an ornate lampholder. This effect was achieved by combining the expressive MDD305 molding along with subtle screens created from MD413. This is a very thoughtful and impressive combination that adds character to the arrangement. The MDD305 skirting board is a 9 cm profile with deep grooves. It works great as a cut-off trim and complements single frames created from much smaller, 2.5 cm high wall moldings. Despite the significant disproportion in the size of the profiles, the composition looks great, resembling elegant English paneling.

The lounge space is a repetition of the striking pattern imitating the paneling, along with symmetrical rectangular wall frames. Subtle MD413 wall moldings are perfect for this role, and slender screens optically elongate the room.

The dot over the “i” of the arrangement is the use of ceiling molding MD137. This is an unconventional profile with a classic design, which has numerous grooves in the material. The ceiling skirting board surrounds the entire room, making the room look refined in every detail. In addition, the molding features LightGuard® technology, which allows for seamless installation, without the need for additional aluminum foil wrapping of the LED strip. Thanks to this, the ceiling strip is perfect as a classic interior decoration, but also fulfills the role of additional lighting.
