The MD057 skirting board is an option for those looking for an elegant yet functional interior finish. Its classic shape makes it a perfect match for both modern and more traditional interiors. The 5.7 cm high profile is versatile enough to fit harmoniously into various types of rooms – it is not overwhelming, yet aesthetically emphasises the line where the wall meets the floor.
The profile is made of PolyForce plastic, which is highly resistant to moisture and UV radiation, allowing it to retain its appearance and colour for many years. In addition, ScratchShield® technology hardens the surface of the profile, effectively protecting it from scratches and impacts, even with intensive use.
A unique feature of the MD057 model is the specially designed back of the profile with guide grooves, which allow for precise application of adhesive without the risk of it flowing out. This innovative solution significantly facilitates and speeds up installation – without mess or the need for corrections. The smooth surface of the profile, covered with primer, makes painting easier.
MD057 is a harmonious combination of classic design and modern installation technology – a choice that will work well in any interior.

Maximum hardening of the strip
The skirting board has innovative ScratchShield technology, which consists in maximizing the hardening of the skirting board with polymer compounds by 40% compared to skirting boards that do not have this technology. Increased impact strength and impact resistance, translate into a noticeable improvement in the durability of the molding when trying to scratch it with a sharp tool. Skirting boards with ScratchShield technology are the toughest skirting boards on the market.
Waterproof
The strip is fully waterproof. This means that it can be successfully used in rooms with high humidity, such as bathrooms or kitchens. In a situation of flooding, direct contact will not affect the appearance of the strip.
UV resistant
The molding, thanks to special refinements and coatings, is resistant to UV radiation. Installation of the molding in a sunny place will not cause its yellowing or discoloration.
Primer-coated strip
The molding is factory-coated with a special primer with smoothing, protecting and facilitating the distribution of subsequent layers of paint. For a perfect visual effect, we recommend painting the molding with any water-based paint after installation.
Resistant to swelling
Mardom Decor mouldings, unlike those made of MDF and other plastics, do not deform, delaminate or swell under the influence of moisture. They are dimensionally stable and do not shrink or expand under the influence of changes in atmospheric conditions in the room.
