The stucco serves as a minimalist but significant element in this arrangement. At a height of 1/3 of the wall, the MD002 wall molding with a classic, subtly raised shape was installed. This profile is 4 cm wide, making it visible against the light wall but not overwhelming with its size.
The lower part of the wall, along with the decorative molding, was painted with a charming, powdery pink paint. Our workspace must undoubtedly be practical and comfortable, but no one said it couldn’t be beautiful at the same time. Sometimes, combining a few simple solutions is enough to create a straightforward yet very impressive arrangement that will become the perfect home office corner.
The main role in this arrangement is unquestionably played by decorative wall slats. Model L0101 has been installed at 1/3 of the wall’s length, which works perfectly in a very limited space. Additionally, the chosen length of the wall panels evokes the look of decorative English wainscoting, but the modern shape of the slats significantly changes the dimension of this arrangement, adding a touch of modern elegance.
The slats are finished with two minimalist moldings. At the bottom, MD359 is used – a classic profile with a length of 7 cm, which works perfectly in rooms with standard height. It doesn’t visually diminish the space and provides a perfect finish on the wall-floor line, matching the modern wall panels. At the top, the slats are finished with a minimalist lighting molding, QL017. This simple profile with a height of 10 cm perfectly balances the entire arrangement. Additionally, model QL017 is designed to be used with LED lighting. It features innovative LightGuard® technology, which prevents LED diodes from piercing through the material, instead, the light is elegantly diffused – in this case, upwards, adding a unique three-dimensionality to the wall decoration.
Both the slats, the wall molding, and the baseboard molding are covered with the same paint in a unique shade bordering between blue and gray. This is a very classic solution that doesn’t distract during work and doesn’t unnecessarily divert attention. The uniform color of the stucco and slats was achieved by using a special primer in the production process, which smoothes and prepares the surface for painting. Thanks to this, Mardom Decor products can be painted multiple times in any color, and the effect of covering the material will be equally spectacular each time. Applying the same shade of paint to all stucco elements has made the arrangement look very aesthetic and cohesive.
Another element that adds an elegant touch to the home office corner is the choice of accessories. Nowadays, a workspace cannot do without a computer desk. The word “boring” is definitely the last thing that comes to mind after looking at the design of this unusual coffee shop. Bold design in shades of pink combined with classic wall stucco makes this the perfect place to spend a pleasant afternoon with coffee. From us, it definitely gets the “instafriendly” badge.
There’s no denying that the intense color of pink plays the main fiddle in this arrangement, which was complemented by classic interior elements – distinctive wall frames and elegant English herringbone flooring. The wall moldings were painted with exactly the same paint as the walls on which they were fixed. The use of any other color could have overwhelmed the already bold arrangement. The pink frames beautifully complement the space, without disturbing the proportions of the interior. Mardom Decor stucco is coated with a special primer that smooths the surface and increases the adhesion of the pigment to the material. Thanks to this, the moldings could easily be covered with a pastel shade and perfectly match the color of the wall.
The wall slats were arranged in the shape of double vertical screens. This procedure elongates and slenderizes the room optically. Two sizes of slats were used to create the frames – MDD332 with a height of 4,1 cm was used for the outer part, and MD413 with a size of 2,5 cm was used for the inner part. This makes the resulting wall arrangement even more expressive and three-dimensional on a bright background. In addition, in the lower area of the wall, horizontal frames were installed, whose form imitates English paneling, which adds elegance to the interior.
The room is already very decorative at first glance, but it does not overwhelm its form. This is due to the shape of the frames, which took the form of drawn rectangles, but also to the addition of mirrors in the arrangement. Internal wall frames, made of MD413 decorative moldings, surround the mirrors, making the room appear larger than it really is.
The use of stucco in a café, through which a huge number of people pass every day, including curious children, may seem risky. How to visually enlarge small spaces so that they look stylish and modern? Sometimes less is more, and the right combination of stucco and colors can work wonders. This is perfectly proven by @mg_projektowaniewnetrz in his visualizations.
Looking at Ms. Monika’s designs, it is impossible not to notice the light colors dominating the interiors. White, shades of gray and beige are the perfect base, which brightens up the rooms, enlarges them and makes them look extremely aesthetically pleasing.
The stucco is the only wall decoration. Despite the minimalist form and the most classic shape of the individual screens, the MD413 moldings (first and second photos) and the MDD332 moldings together with the MDD332-11 corner (third photo) are clearly visible. Matched in color to the shade of the wall, they do not overwhelm, but instead become a consistent element of the arrangement. The decorative moldings are minimalist in form, but thanks to ScratchShield® technology they gain high resistance to mechanical damage.
The shape of the wall frames also matters. To decorate the interior, wall moldings were used, which took the shape of elongated screens. Their length extends almost from the ceiling to the floor. This procedure optically lengthens the room, creating the illusion of a much taller room than it actually is.
The design also uses another stucco element – a curtain rail. QL056 is a smooth profile that is perfect for interiors decorated in a modern style. The curtain rail perfectly masks the unsightly curtain rail, making the interior look neat and give the impression of refinement in every detail.
