French style bathroom :)

The French style does not often appear in contemporary interiors, which is a pity. These are rooms full of class and style, designed to combine different eras in a monochromatic color palette. The characteristic contrast of light shades – white and beige with intense black can be terrifying for many people. These are not easy connections, especially in small rooms such as bathrooms. However, the @aristo.interiordesign project proves that it can be elegant, practical and, what’s more, in such a problematic room as the bathroom.

The French style is a mixture of different eras with great respect for classical architecture. Stucco is one of the classic elements that interiors decorated in French style cannot do without! However, when choosing decorative strips for the bathroom – a room constantly exposed to contact with water – you should choose high-quality products that are resistant to changing temperatures and water. Mardom Decor stucco is made of PolyForce duropolymer (a special mixture of polymers with refiners), which is 100% waterproof. This material is completely safe and is perfect for rooms with high humidity.

Two types of decorative strips were used in the bathroom: ceiling and wall strips. The MD213 model was used as the ceiling stucco. It is a distinctive strip with an elegant decoration. The selected height of 8 cm makes the ceiling strip a distinctive accent of the interior – it is definitely visible, it effectively connects the ceiling lines with the walls, but it does not dominate the room due to its light color, which perfectly matches the tiles and the ceiling. MD003 wall strips on the walls in the form of classic screens – this is what adds class and elegance to the interior. Utility elements, such as a modern radiator, are incorporated into the decorative wall frames. The combination of these two elements is the essence of the French style – modernity combined with classic.

Wall frames made of MD003 strips were installed in the form of vertical rectangles. They reach almost from the floor to the ceiling. This treatment optically lengthens the room, enlarging it. This is important in the context of small rooms such as a bathroom. The MD003 strip has ScratchShield® technology, which hardens the surface, protecting it against mechanical damage. This is important in the case of stucco installed at such a height.

And finally – colors! Intense black was used on the bathroom walls, which adds elegance and luxury to the arrangement. The stucco frames are covered with the same color, creating a coherent and harmonious whole. Mardom Decor strips are covered with a special primer that allows you to easily repaint the surface in any color – including intense black.

Metamorphosis of the office :)

Having your own office is now a dream for many of us, or at least for those who are comfortable working remotely 😉 It’s the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of home and fully focus on work or private projects that require focus. However, a desk and a computer are not enough. After all, we spend a lot of time in our office, and it’s worth making sure it’s fully functional, but also pleasing to the eye. This is exactly the assumption that Karolina Pach came up with, creating with her own hands, her dream office. The study was decorated in a classic style. Already at first glance you can see decorative stucco and the dominant white in the room. The space has been visually divided into two zones – for work and small relaxation.

The “work” space was decorated with decorative wallpaper and occupies 2/3 of the wall. The lower part is a stucco wall, which took the form of an ornate lampholder. This effect was achieved by combining the expressive MDD305 molding along with subtle screens created from MD413. This is a very thoughtful and impressive combination that adds character to the arrangement. The MDD305 skirting board is a 9 cm profile with deep grooves. It works great as a cut-off trim and complements single frames created from much smaller, 2.5 cm high wall moldings. Despite the significant disproportion in the size of the profiles, the composition looks great, resembling elegant English paneling.

The lounge space is a repetition of the striking pattern imitating the paneling, along with symmetrical rectangular wall frames. Subtle MD413 wall moldings are perfect for this role, and slender screens optically elongate the room.

The dot over the “i” of the arrangement is the use of ceiling molding MD137. This is an unconventional profile with a classic design, which has numerous grooves in the material. The ceiling skirting board surrounds the entire room, making the room look refined in every detail. In addition, the molding features LightGuard® technology, which allows for seamless installation, without the need for additional aluminum foil wrapping of the LED strip. Thanks to this, the ceiling strip is perfect as a classic interior decoration, but also fulfills the role of additional lighting.

Stylish minimalism in the living room of Ola Nowak :)

Seeing the arrangement of Ola Nowak‘s apartment, we can find no other words than “stylish minimalism”. Such a design of the living room would not be ashamed of any architect. The interior is bright, spacious and looks like one of the photographs on Pinterest. How do you achieve such an effect?

Slender wall frames made of minimalist MD002 rectangular shaped slats perfectly elongate the room. The interior appears larger and taller thanks to the straight vertical lines climbing almost from the floor to the ceiling.

The moldings, as well as the wall, are painted with the same white paint, so they form a cohesive composition. “Boring” space becomes three-dimensional, however, stucco does not unnecessarily attract attention. The moldings are just an accent, a beautiful background for everyday life.

Single wall frames are perfect as a subtle picture decoration. They emphasize the other wall decorations, without overshadowing their charm. This is a simple but effective procedure, thanks to which the interior gains character.

The wall moldings perfectly match the color scheme of the interior. The room was decorated in shades of white, making it seem larger and more spacious. The stucco harmonizes with the other elements of the interior – a light floor, a small table, soft furnishings and even a white canvas of a painting. However, a uniform color does not at all mean that the room looks cool or uninteresting. Contrary to appearances, there is really a lot going on here. The arrangement is varied by the combination of different textures – smooth moldings, marble floor, boulce chairs or corduroy sofa. The combination of neutral color with such a rich palette of textures looks very stylish.

If you follow Ola on Instagram, you are well aware that she is an energetic, vivacious woman who travels frequently. With such an active lifestyle, there is no time for understatement and constant home improvements. Mardom Decor moldings have been perfectly adapted to such an intense pace of life. They do not require additional maintenance and are resistant to UV radiation, and water. Once installed, they will look beautiful on the wall for many years.

Rafal Maślak bet on the best skirting boards :)

Looking at the interior of Rafal Maślak‘s apartment, it is hard to imagine a more ideal combination of flooring and moldings. Both products were chosen with all the most important design principles in mind. If you want to achieve a similar effect in your home, be sure to pay attention to these few important elements.

First, the moldings correspond in color with the wall.  However, this is not an ironclad rule, as more and more often we see the combination of light-colored walls with moldings of a contrasting color. In this case, full consistency and harmony in shades was maintained, which further emphasized the elegant and classic character of the interior.

Secondly, the skirting boards were perfectly matched in style with the rest of the interior elements. Decorative flooring in a French herringbone pattern, a marble kitchen island, velour chairs, small accessories in shades of gold and copper – this is the best background for decorative skirting boards. The choice fell on the MD095 skirting board, which is characterized by a rich double millwork.

Third, the ideal height of the skirting board was chosen, which is 12 cm. This size is optimal for most interiors and falls within the safe recommended range of 8-14 cm. Deciding on such a dimension, you should be aware that the skirting board will be clearly visible and exposed in the interior. We then treat it not as an invisible detail that blends into the background, but as one of the main decorative elements in our home.

Fourth, anyone who observes Rafal’s activities knows that his apartment is heavily used and subjected to many daily challenges J Deciding on Mardom Decor skirting boards took into account the fact that the boards may come into contact with children’s toys or bicycles. Mardom Decor skirting boards have innovative ScratchShield technology, which consists in maximum surface hardening and protection against mechanical damage. This makes Mardom Decor skirting boards the toughest polymer skirting boards on the market.
